No matter what your profession is we should attempt to seek the advice of personal coaches. We all need coaching. In order to be the greatest at what you do and stand out from the rest you have to be ahead of the game. Seeking the help of a credible coach is essential. Great examples of well recognized people that sought the help of coaches are Michael Jordan who had a shooting coach in addition to his regular coaches. Tiger Woods, Tom Hanks, just to name a few, have all had additional help and coaching. To be better than the rest, above average, standout – you have to take matters into your own hands and go the extra mile. Utilize your resources in your area of expertise to ensure you’re on your “A” game. If you don’t, trust me your competition will.
Things that may stop you from seeking the help of a coach:
Good ‘ole fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) Fear is the culprit of everything bad. It’s what prevents most people from living their dreams, fulfilling their destiny, and getting ahead in life. It’s time to look it in the face, grab it by the neck, and toss it to the side.
Money. Seeking the advice of a coach or consultant will most likely cost you money but if you want or need it bad enough you will make the sacrifice. Most coaches are willing to offer you a payment plan. If they do take advantage of the opportunity and make some adjustments within your budget. If you want something bad enough you will figure out how to get it. This just has to be a priority.
Time. Time is a priceless and valuable commodity and once it has passed, it’s gone forever. Investing money and time is of great value when it’s done wisely.
Trust. Not sure what coaches to use, ask around, and do your research. At some point you will get a resounding confirmation within your spirit that you have chosen the right one. In the end, money, time, and trust all lead back to fear!
I recently hired a coach and it may very well have been the best investment I made in myself. Ready to take whatever it is you are doing to the next level, hire a coach!
