So what’s your take on eye creams? Do they work or are they just big money makers for these cosmetology brands? Walk down any basic skin care aisle in any store and there is a plethora of eye creams to choose from. How do you even know which one to choose? Is your choice based on budget, effectiveness, ingredients, what?
Here’s what I learned; if I were sitting surely I would have fallen out the chair. I went into a major beauty supply store and as I shopped around for concealers and eye shadows I inquired about eye creams. Here’s what the rep said, “we have some of the best eye creams starting at $45. What are you currently using?” I said “whatever is on sale and if I remember to grab it.” Then she said THIS, “did you know that an eye cream does not start working until somewhere around day 28, basically when the bottle is almost done. If you don’t continue once the bottle is done whatever changes were made will be undone quickly.” RIGHT!!! I looked like a deer caught in headlights. I couldn’t believe it. All the magazines I read, I’ve never heard such a statement before. Have you ever heard of this? Please let me know. Was she just trying to make a sale? I dunno (insert shrug shoulders here).
Is there an eye cream that you swear by? If yes, I want to know about it. How long have you been using it? What changes have you noticed? And let’s keep it real, how much does it cost? The more you pay the better the product is, is not always true.
Looking forward to your feedback on this beauty topic!
