When it comes to negative emotions two things are certain, one we all experience them, and two we really don’t have to or at least not as frequent. Negative emotions are really derived from the unknown. What you don’t know makes you uncomfortable and uneasy. You’ve heard the saying “it’s the fear of the unknown.” However, the unknown eventually becomes known and once it occurs, you will free yourself from unintentional anxiety which creates these negative emotions. It’s a vicious cycle but you have to figure out how to get off that hamster wheel.
Bottom line, you are the only one that can make the adjustment. The only way to live your life to its truest potential is to face your fears head on. Once you do, you’ll realize that your initial perception of how terrifying that “fear” was, wasn’t really that great to begin with. Think back to facing prior fears and their challenges. What was the outcome? How did you address them? I’m sure you can recall some or most of them in great detail. However, do you recall how quickly it ended….in a heartbeat!
Letting go of fear and negative emotions is life changing, but you have to be ready, willing, and able.
