Recently I went on a fast and ate nothing but salads, freshly made juice, and lots of boiled earth foods. It was tough and quite the challenge because this meant not eating any meats, zero (and I mean ZERO, ZIP, NADA) sweets (my weakness), and no rice/bread/pasta (no biggie for me). Now that I’m off the fast my body no longer craves what I ate pre-fast, which is a great thing. I’ve also lost a few pounds, 7 to be exact, and will do my best to keep them off. Rice, breads, and pastas will be kept at bay. Anyway, I just wanted to share what my average meal looked like for 3 weeks. Ahhmmm I think I’ll be fine if I didn’t see another spinach salad for a few months. at least one that is not made by me (LOL).
I’m sharing this with you to make a point. Anything in life, and I mean anything, if you want it bad enough you can do it. The question isn’t IF you can do it but HOW BADLY you want to do it. Through Christ we can do all things! Often I talk about sacrifice, drive, and determination. Why, because it’s almost impossible to not succeed if you have all three of those components!
