- Spinach – 1 bunch
- Pineapple – A whole pineapple washed and peeled
- Ginger – 1″ thumb
Try juicing the spinach and the pineapple on a lower speed to get as much as possible. Then add the ginger.
- Pineapple – Well said “The vitamin C in pineapple may help lower your risk for heart disease, gout, cancer, lead toxicity, cataracts and stroke. It also provides a boost to your immune function, helping to shorten the duration of colds. The vitamin may also help to prevent high blood pressure and diabetes, according to the Linus Pauling Institute.” It also improves digestion, strengthens bones, and keeps your gums healthy.
- Spinach – there are tons of benefits from spinach. You could spend the entire day researching and your results would be endless. I think this is a consistent and accurate summary of the benefits of spinach. “The benefits of spinach is that this is a heart-healthy food. It’s an outstanding source of vitamins C and A which are antioxidants that help reduce free radical amounts in the body. The antioxidants work to keep cholesterol from oxidizing. In addition, folate is good for a healthy cardiovascular system, as well as magnesium, a mineral that helps to lower high blood pressure.” The high alkalinity in spinach is also good for those suffering from inflammatory ailments like arthritis.
- Ginger Root – what I know for sure is that ginger is excellent for morning sickness, nausea, and or an upset stomach. It may also “slow the growth of colorectal cancer cells and the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center found that ginger powder induces cell death in all ovarian cancer cells to which it was applied.”
