Sacrifice [sak-ruh-fahys]~ to surrender or give up, or permit injury or disadvantage to, for the sake of something else. Now that you have a clear understanding of what it means to sacrifice, are you willing to do it, or have you done it?
Questions to consider: Are you living your dream? Are you where you planned to be at this point in your life? Are you completely or somewhat satisfied with your accomplishments? If you died tomorrow, would you have died full-filled? If you answered “no” to all these questions, then my questions to you are:
- What sacrifices have you made so you may live your dream?
- What sacrifices have you made that would have enabled you to live the life you planned for at this point?
- What sacrifices have you made that greatly justifies your accomplishments?
- What sacrifices have you made that would lead to self full-fulfillment?
Sacrifice is a tough pill to swallow but once swallowed and digested its flavor is temporary. Carefully evaluate what sacrifices you need to make so you can live the life you were meant to live.
